STRIVR, located in Menlo Park, California, is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the successful deployment of its virtual reality training product to customers. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with large scale deployment of complex devices, optimizing inventory management, and sourcing equipment that meet the needs of STRIVR’s business. The Operations Manager will play a vital role in the success of a fast growing company and must be willing and able to adapt to STRIVR’s daily challenges.
- Own the successful deployment of STRIVR’s product to customers - Oversee custom builds that meet customer needs - Implement and oversee inventory management processes - Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs - Partner with sales, engineering, product, and finance to influence specs for builds - Evaluate and source hardware and software needs - Build efficient workflows and approval processes - Evaluate and onboard a 3PL - Manage workload of operations team; communicate expectations; provide feedback and guidance
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, MBA preferred - 5+ years experience with mass deployment of complex custom devices supervising and mentoring an operations team sourcing, qualifying, and managing vendors Proven ability to successfully meet stretch targets Expertise with inventory management software Advanced understanding of sourcing equipment, lead times, and delivery operations Advanced IT skills SaaS industry experience preferred Knowledge of Virtual Reality hardware preferred A strong sense of personal integrity, contributing to a culture that values diversity in the workplace Familiar with project management, file sharing, and communication tools Attention to detail and problem solving skills Strong organizational and planning skills in fast-paced environment Creative mind with ability to suggest improvements Shares and exhibits STRIVR’s core values
